Love the show, I just wanted to give my opinion on the Drew McIntyre sword spot. I’m fairly sure the sword was real. McIntyre was probably supposed to cut through all three ropes, but the sword twisted in his hands and bounced off the final rope. I’ve filmed with and own a few real and prop swords. Real Long and Great swords have a surprising amount of playability in the blade, it stops them from shattering when they hit a target. Real swords look fake on film because of that movement so you have sturdier prop ones, like how real milk looks watery so they you white paint in cereal commercials. Sorry for carrying on, swords are one of the few things I know about. And again love the show. Leave a Reply. |
